The Barrel Room's Chef Meal Kit is here!
The Barrel Room opened up in January 2007 with the belief of creating a casual environment for any level of wine enthusiast. A fun place with chef-driven food, a wide array of wines and reasonable prices, that would make anyone comfortable enough to walk in and share a bottle with friends.
While it was the wine that started it all, the amazing selection of food made the restaurant come full circle. Were delighted to introduce all these delicious plates into the Chef Meal Kits menu.
Pork Osso Buco
A recreation of the traditional Italian dish Osso Buco, but with a Pork spin. This dish starts off with a bed of creamy polenta, which is a boiled cornmeal, and stacks of broccoli, to allow the pork shank to sit on top without sinking. Then top of with a classic chopped herbs garnish of gremolata. The image doesn’t lie this dish is as delicious as it looks.
Crab Stuffed Squash Blossoms
These mouthwatering pieces come with as much flavor as they do texture. From the outside deep fried tempura crunch to the rich ricotta creamy inside, every bite is full of savory taste.
Mason Fried Chicken Sandwich
Keeping with the fried theme, this chicken sandwich is far from basic. Fried chicken prepared with their in-house recipe, drizzled with decadent lemon aioli, topped with bread & butter pickled cole slaw, and placed in between two brioche buns, this sandwich will put others to shame.
A New Orleans classic given a Barrel Room twist. With its bountiful list of ingredients and abundant flavor, conquering this dish will be a great victory.
Pistachio Crusted Sea Bass
Looking for a meal that will impress then try this baked sea bass with a Spanish flare. Take a bite of this pistachio crusted fish on a bed of risotto, paired with the oh so flavor romesco sauce.
Shrimp Elote Salad
Fusing the taste of the classic Mexican street snack, corn in a cup, into a savory salad option, created the shrimp elote salad. With sliced avocado, cotija cheese, grilled corn as toppings, a side of grilled shrimp and drizzled with lime and chili-based dressing, this salad packs a punch in every bite.
